Alex is passionate about empowering colleagues and students to have access to, and be provided with, the best learning and teaching evidence and practices. She is currently the Assistant Headteacher for Learning, Teaching and Partnerships at Denmark Road High School, having previously worked in Oxfordshire for 11 years. She has been a Head of Faculty, SSAT Lead Practitioner for Business and Enterprise, carried out educational research and seminars with Oxford University and has regularly spoken both internationally, nationally and locally on all things teaching. Alex has also supported schools with developing their business and economics curriculums, as well as developing responsive professional development systems to enable schools to become international teaching training centres, this having an impact on hundreds of teachers and thousands of students.

Alex trained with the Business SCITT, GITEP, in 2006/7 and has continued to take an active role since, by leading PGCE subject pathway sessions and as a PGCE mentor. She is delighted to be teaching in Gloucestershire again and working with the Adfecto partnership.
