Sarah Taylor

Primary Lead – Sarah Taylor

Sarah is a Gloucestershire based Primary School Teacher, Independent Primary Computing Consultant and Computing at School Master Teacher with over 25  years of experience in the education sector. She has taught computing in both KS1 and KS2 and for most of her career has been the subject leader for computing.

For six years, until September 2010, Sarah worked for the Local Authority as a Primary ICT Consultant, a role which involved supporting Gloucestershire schools with curriculum developments and delivering a wide range of courses. Recent experience includes delivering sessions on computing across the curriculum for the Local Authority to support their NQT programme; running sessions for trainee teachers on behalf of teaching schools and delivering a module for the University of Gloucestershire on Technology Enhanced Learning.

Barry Lambert

Secondary Lead – Barry Lambert

Barry has taught for over 30 years in a range of secondary schools in the county. He has been a Head of Design Technology, Senior Housemaster and Director of Pupil Welfare.

Barry has taught many different pathways through Design Technology, A level Electronics and OCR Computer Science. A former school’s inspector, Barry is currently Chief Examiner for six GCSE papers, author of numerous GCSE and GCE textbooks and one of Ofquals subject experts. Barry has written and delivered national and international INSET programmes and spoken at teacher conferences.

Cara

Cara York

Cara is a Programme Co-ordinator who works to support both the Odyssey Computing Hub, since its launch in 2018, and the Science Learning Partnership programmes.

Cara has been at Adfecto for over four years and has previously held roles in hotel management, where she worked as a Conference and Events Co-ordinator, followed by a position as Revenue Manager. In her spare time, Cara likes walking with her two dogs and jogging.
