This course is led by experienced leaders from across Gloucestershire’s secondary schools. It takes place over three mornings, calendared quite closely together, hosted in three different secondary schools.*
The course is aimed at colleagues who have a genuine desire to be the best teacher they can and focuses on ways to engage learners, learn from current research and from other colleagues as well as providing opportunities to reflect on their current practice. The sessions are practical and are aimed at giving participants ideas to try with their own classes to help improve student engagement and raise standards. During the course, there is the opportunity to meet pupils to discuss how they learn and on the final day to work with other colleagues to create an inspiring learning experience.
